Kayla Braxton Details Experience Of Watching WrestleMania 36 Instead Of Working It Live
WrestleMania 36 was certainly unique and Kayla Braxton details how she spent her weekend experiencing the event.
This year’s WrestleMania not only was not live and took place at the WWE Performance Center due to COVID-19, but was also a two-day event on April 4 and 5. This meant wrestlers and other WWE employees were watching the show from the comfort of their own homes, including Braxton. In an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Braxton said it felt weird not having to dress up to work WrestleMania live, but it was still a fun time watching both nights of the event.
“I just sat at my couch. The world knows that we weren’t live. We were all tweeting from the comfort of our own homes. I actually had one of my coworkers joke that I was doing a backstage interview with King Corbin and I was tweeting, I think I told him to keep his day job. My coworker was tweeting, ‘How are you tweeting when you’re interviewing King Corbin?’ We had fun with it. It was weird being in sweatpants on WrestleMania day instead of a sparkly dress, but we were all in it together,” Braxton said.
