Kevin Owens Originally Wanted To Jump Off The Pirate Ship At WrestleMania 36
Kevin Owens delivered a WrestleMania moment on Saturday night when he leaped from the WrestleMania sign at the WWE Performance Center and crashed through Seth Rollins and a table.
The spot was arguably the most memorable moment from the Performance Center during night one of WrestleMania, but Owens had bigger plans had the event happened at Raymond James Stadium. WrestleMania 36 was built around a pirate theme — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers play at Raymond James Stadium — and the stadium already includes a large pirate ship.
Which Owens had hoped to use.
True story:
I went to a show there in January. As soon as I saw it, I told myself no matter what I was doing at Mania, I’d find a way to jump off that thing. I even took pics of it to figure out the best way to go about it.
It didn’t work out but I found the next best thing! https://t.co/PCGXr0Aw7I

Owens did make the best of the situation with his sign leap on Saturday.

Owens was victorious in his bout against Rollins, pinning the “Monday Night Messiah” following a Stunner.
