NJPW New Zealand Dojo Tryouts Postponed

Anybody who had been wanting to be a part of the upcoming tryouts for the NJPW New Zealand Dojo will wait a little longer for the opportunity.

NJPW announced that the tryouts for the New Zealand Dojo, originally set for May 9 and 10 have been postponed to a later date. This was the latest announcement NJPW has made regarding the coronavirus.

From NJPW:

As a result of the ongoing Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic, the decision has been made to postpone the New Zealand Dojo tryouts, which had been scheduled for May 9 & 10.

Keep checking njpw1972.com and social media for new dates for the tryouts when they are confirmed.

Thank you for your understanding.

NJPW has also canceled all events from March 1 to April 11, a period of time that would have included the entirety of the New Japan Cup and the NJPW Anniversary show. In its place, NJPW has posted original content on its streaming service NJPW World as part of the Together Project.

A number of wrestling promotions across the world have had events postponed, re-located or outright postponed. The biggest wrestling show to be affected is WWE’s WrestleMania, which was moved from Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
