AEW:

– In the lone title match of the night, Kenny Omega was able to successfully defend the AAA Mega Championship against Sammy Guevara.

– But before the match could take place, Guevara chose to make out with, of all things, a drawing of Brandi Rhodes.

– Darby Allin defeated Kip Sabian in singles action.

Chris Jericho had his confrontation with Matt Hardy…and Vanguard 1.

– Jake Roberts has a message for Cody.

– Jake Hager picked up a win over Chico Adams, but was attacked by Jon Moxley afterwards.

– Vanguard 1 is keeping an eye on Nick Jackson.

NXT:

– Adam Cole comments on his record title reign as NXT Champion and even offers Velveteen Dream a match against fellow Undisputed Era member Bobby Fish.

– The Johnny Gargano vs. Tommaso Ciampa feud will conclude in two weeks, but Killer Kross stole the show at the end of NXT.

– Keith Lee, Dominik Dijakovic and Damian Priest brawled in the ring, leading to them having a North American title match next week.

– Candice LeRae and Io Shirai qualified for the ladder match to crown a No. 1 contender to the NXT Women’s Championship.

– Shirai posted this on Twitter after she won her return match.

– Killian Dain, Cameron Grimes and Tyler Breeze all picked up wins in singles matches.

– Several matches have been announced for next week’s episode of NXT.
