Report: Frank Camacho Replaces Christos Giagos At UFC Fight Night Lincoln
Christos Giagos has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Lincoln, replacing him against Alan Patrick is Frank Camacho.
Combate first reported the card change, but the nature of Giagos’ injury or how long he’ll be out of action for isn’t known at this time.
Patrick (15-2-0) has won three of his last four in the UFC, with those victories coming over Damian Brown, Stevie Ray and Damir Hadzovic. Patrick has suffered a total of two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came in UFC competition. Patrick is returning to action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place at UFC 229.
Camacho (22-8-0) has won two of six during his UFC tenure, with those wins coming over the aforementioned Brown and Nick Hein. Camacho also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 16, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Neil Magny. Camacho has picked up twenty two wins as a professional MMA fighter and seventeen of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place on Saturday, April 25 from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska with Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
