Randa Markos & John Makdessi Self-Quarantine After UFC Fight Night Brasilia
However, a pair of losses may not be the worst thing for both fighters, who both decided to self-quarantine after the event.
Markos revealed the news through a series of posts on Twitter:
Just made it home. Stopped by the coronavirus testing center and they wouldn’t test me. Long flights with a lot of people, not feeling great and I’m not a risk? Okay I guess I’ll be home for two weeks

I just want to be safe. Things were way different from when I left to when I came back from the fights. News changes every hour.

Makdessi would reveal that he is doing a self-quarantine during an interview with The Sun.
“I’m under (self) quarantine right now — 14 days,” Makdessi said. “And I need to get some medical assistance (as a result of the fight). I can’t even do that. I can’t go to (the UFC) headquarters because I’d have to go to Vegas and I can’t travel. And here, no hospital will see me because I’m in quarantine.”
Neither fighter has been diagnosed with the coronavirus at this time, but are still taking precautions to keep their health intact.
