Tyron Woodley Not Fighting Gilbert Burns This Saturday Night
This weekend’s UFC Fight Night card is still in flux, but we now know one more bout that won’t be happening on Saturday Night.
That bout that won’t be happening is former UFC Welterweight Champion Tyron Woodley versus Gilbert Burns, as Woodley apparently turned down the opportunity to face Burns.
Burns posted the following earlier today on Twitter:
Man —- Shame on this former champ he said He is on killer mode! No you’re not you don’t want no smoke! I will see u soon @TWooodley thanks @danawhite @seanshelby and my manager @AliAbdelaziz00 to try to make this fight! I’m always available to fight but this guys talk to much —-

If the Burns versus Woodley bout has indeed fallen through, it would leave former UFC Interim Welterweight Champion Colby Covington and former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos as the only two fighters who have challenged Woodley left to face him.
There is approximately five days left until the UFC Fight Night event, which currently has no location and about three bouts announced for it at this time.
