Report: Nia Jax ‘Earmarked’ To Return As A Member Of The WWE Raw Roster

Nia Jax has been injured since shortly after WrestleMania 35 with two torn ACLs and as a result, she went undrafted in the October 2019 WWE Draft. However, a new report suggests that upon her return, she will be heading to Monday Night Raw.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the generational athlete is medically cleared to compete, and it is now a matter of WWE creative finding the best direction for her upon returning to television, noting that she is currently “earmarked” to return to Monday Night Raw and not SmackDown.

Nia’s injuries have seen her sidelined for 11 months at the time of this writing. The injury she received allotted her a return time frame spanning anywhere from 8-14 months. Prior to her injury, she was involved in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship picture, aligning herself with Tamina Snuka.

At the time of her injury, she was a member of the Monday Night Raw roster as WWE hadn’t yet instituted the “Wildcard” rule, which was a roster shake-up rule that saw Superstars appear on both Raw and SmackDown before the rosters were properly drafted once more in October 2019.

Fightful will provide updates on the status of Nia Jax as they become available. If you would like to keep up with the injury status of wrestlers across all promotions, please check out the Injury Report in our resources section.
