WWE SmackDown 3/13 Viewership Second-Highest Of 2020

With SmackDown taking a unique approach to the March 13 show thanks to the coronavirus outbreak, the show drew its second-highest viewership of the year.

According to overnight numbers released by ShowBuzz Daily, the March 13 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.588 million viewers, up from the 2.452 million viewers the March 6 episode averaged. This week’s episode was the second-most watched episode of 2020 with the February 28 episode being the only show to draw a better viewership number (2.716 million viewers).

In the 18-49 demographic, SmackDown averaged 0.7 rating, the same rating as last week’s episode drew. Among all primetime programs that aired on CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX and CW for the day, SmackDown was the second highest rated show in that demographic, behind ABC’s Shark Tank, which did a 0.8 rating.

Hourly Breakdown:

Hour 1: 2.673 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 2.503 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic
