Report: Carlos Felipe Faces Sergey Spivak At UFC 250

A heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as Carlos Felipe is in action against Sergey Spivak.

It was Felipe who announced the bout through Instagram, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Felipe (8-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over five years. Felipe has competed a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went past the opening round. Felipe has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and six of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Spivak (10-2-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Tai Tuivasa at UFC 243. Spivak is undefeated when competing on UFC pay-per-view cards, but is winless when competing on Fight Night cards. Spivak has competed a total of twelve times as a professional MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.

UFC 250 takes place on Saturday, May 9 from the Ibirapueroa Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Henry Cejudo and Jose Aldo headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
