Report: Marlon Moraes vs. Petr Yan Headlines UFC Fight Night Kazakhstan
A bantamweight division encounter is slated to headline UFC Fight Night Kazakhstan as #1 Marlon Moraes faces #3 Petr Yan.

Moraes (23-6-1) has won five of his last six under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over John Dodson, Aljamain Sterling, Jimmie Rivera, Raphael Assuncao and Jose Aldo. Moraes has previously challenged for the UFC Bantamweight Championship, losing to current champion Henry Cejudo at UFC 238. Moraes is a former WSOF Bantamweight Champion, defeating Josh Rettinghouse by unanimous decision at the WSOF 9 to claim the gold.
Yan (14-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, with notable wins coming over Douglas Silva De Andrade, an aforementioned Rivera, Urijah Faber and the aforementioned Dodson. Yan is going to be headlining his first UFC card, despite having been with the promotion for almost two years now. Yan has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Kazakhstan takes place on Saturday, June 13 from the Astana Arena in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan with Marlon Moraes and Petr Yan headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
