Sheamus Calls His First Decade In WWE ‘A Dress Rehearsal’

Having been a multi-time World Heavyweight Champion, Royal Rumble winner, Money in the Bank winner, United States Champion, and multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion, Sheamus is one of the most decorated WWE Superstars of the last decade. However, even with all of those accolades, he still feels like the first 10 years were a mere dress rehearsal for him and what is coming next.

Speaking to CTV in Canada, Sheamus reveals that now that he is back, he is looking forward to accomplishing more of what he feels he is capable of. Regarding his past success, Sheamus would say that even though he is a very decorated competitor, he feels like there are a lot of distractions early on in his career and is ready for true success now more than ever.

“The first ten years for me have been a dress rehearsal,” Sheamus began. “I feel like now with my YouTube channel, Celtic Warrior Workouts, I’m just… I’m so much more focused than I was when I first came into WWE I got a lot out of my system, you know what I mean, in the beginning where I had a great run, but I still feel like there was a lot left for me to achieve. And I felt like there [were] a lot of distractions in my career for that.”

Currently, Sheamus on the  SmackDown brand and has been making a habit out of beating up not only Apollo Crews, but Shorty G as well.
