PCO Proposes Match With Matt Hardy, Hardy Responds
Although Matt Hardy is still with WWE, PCO didn’t mind throwing out a challenge.
Over the week, someone on Twitter asked Hardy about his thoughts on PCO, the current ROH World Champion. Hardy said he is a fan of PCO and admires not only his commitment to the character but also his resilience and ability to stay active after being in the wrestling business for decades.
PCO kindly responded to Hardy’s praise and even proposed a potential match between the two, a proposal that Hardy seems receptive.
Below is their Twitter exchange:
I have great respect for what PCO has done the last couple of years. The creative, out of the box content he’s produced to forge his current persona is admirable. After being a performer in this biz for so long, PCO’s resilience & longevity deserves props. https://t.co/fNiRGQdrYw

Hardy is still under contract with WWE, but his contract is reportedly set to end in the coming weeks. Hardy last appeared on the February 10 episode of Raw where he was taken out by Randy Orton. Afterwards, Hardy posted a tweet simply saying “Goodbye.”
PCO is scheduled to defend his ROH World Championship against both RUSH and Mark Haskins at the Gateway To Honor show on February 29.
