Report: Sijara Eubanks Faces Sarah Moras At UFC 249

A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 249 as Sijara Eubanks faces Sarah Moras.

Newsday first reported the contest, but its spot on the card isn’t known at the moment.

Eubanks (4-4-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Aspen Ladd and Bethe Correia. Eubanks was supposed to compete in the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 26, but health issues related to the weight cut caused the fighter to be pulled from the bout. Eubanks has competed a total of eight times as a professional MMA fighter and six of those encounters went the distance.

Moras (6-5-0) has won just three of seven under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Alexis Dufresne, Ashlee Evans-Smith and Liana Jojua. Moras competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Juliana Pena. Moras is undefeated when competing on UFC pay-per-view events, picking up wins at UFC 215 and UFC 242

UFC 249 takes place on Saturday, April 18 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
