Keith Lee Beats Roderick Strong To Win NXT North American Title
Keith Lee has finally won his first title in WWE.
In the main event of the January 22 episode of NXT, Lee defeated Roderick Strong to become the new NXT North American champion. Lee had to not only contend with Strong, but also deal with interference from Strong’s fellow stablemates from the Undisputed Era.

The loss ended Strong’s reign as champion at 126 days after Strong defeated Velveteen Dream on September 18, 2019 on an episode of NXT. It is also the third straight time the title has changed hands on NXT television. This now also loosens the Undisputed Era’s grip on various NXT titles given that Adam Cole also holds the NXT Championship and Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly are NXT Tag Team Champions.
