Pro MMA Fighter Offers Free Classes To Cops To Avoid DUI, Was Also Willing To Beat Up Criminals

Calen Holocomb holds an 0-2-0 record as a professional MMA fighter, but that didn’t stop him from putting that expertise to use.

A report from Fox 35 out of Orlando, Florida states that Holocomb was pulled over by police officers in Cape Canaveral last week. Officers spotted Holocomb attempting to back into a parking spot when the fighter allegedly nearly backed into an office building instead.

Officers on the scene reported that the fighter smelled of alcohol, plus Holocomb’s eyes were reportedly bloodshot and glassy. Holocomb had also refused to take a field sobriety test or a breath test according to the officers at the scene.

Holocomb, in an attempt to avoid an arrest for the DUI, allegedly offered the officers a months worth of free MMA classes. The officers also claimed that Holocomb offered to beat up other suspected criminals in order to avoid an arrest.

Those offers apparently weren’t good enough for the officers, as Holocomb was arrested and transported to jail. Holocomb has been charged with Driving Under The Influence (DUI) and Bribery Of Or By A Public Servant. Holocomb hasn’t competed since January of 2016, with his two professional MMA defeats coming to Daniel Martinez and John MIchael Escoboza.
