Report: Kane To Participate In WWE Royal Rumble

Though it’s not officially confirmed, a report indicates that long-time Royal Rumble match veteran Kane is going to participate in the 2020 Royal Rumble.

PWInsider reported that Kane is confirmed for the show, taking place at the event on January 26 in Houston, Texas. This comes after Kane recently appeared on SmackDown on January 17. It should be noted that WWE has yet to officially confirm Kane’s participation in the Rumble match.

On his recent appearance on SmackDown, Kane talked about his history with the Royal Rumble match, mentioning how he holds the record for most total Royal Rumble eliminations and appearances. Afterwards, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt showed up with Kane’s former tag team partner Daniel Bryan attacking Wyatt.

Roughly two-thirds of the participants in the men’s match have been confirmed and you can check out who is in the match here. You can also check out the list of confirmed entrants in the women’s Royal Rumble match at this link. A number of other matches have already been announced for the show, including Becky Lynch vs. Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship and Wyatt vs. Bryan for the WWE Universal Championship.
