Donald Cerrone Would Give Conor McGregor An Immediate Rematch If Successful At UFC 246

Donald Cerrone and former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor are competing tomorrow night in the main event of UFC 246.

If Cerrone is successful against McGregor at UFC 246, one thing he is willing to do is give McGregor an immediate rematch.

“Hey, sure,” Cerrone told MMA Junkie. “I would because I don’t care. The who never matters to me. It’s always the when and the where. I heard him yesterday talking about April sounds free – or April, March, whatever the (expletive) they said sounds good to me. I would love to get right back on and get in there in March. So, yeah (I would do an immediate rematch).”

Both fighters are in need of a victory, as McGregor hasn’t won a bout in three-plus year and Cerrone enters the contest on a two fight losing streak.

Cerrone, win or lose at UFC 246, is guaranteeing that fans are going to see an exciting contest on Saturday Night.

“Saturday night we’re going to blow the roof off this mother(expletive), so I can’t wait,” Cerrone said. “‘Cowboy’ is showing up for the big one.”

UFC 246 takes place on Saturday, January 18 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Conor McGregor and Donald Cerrone headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
