Report: Nad Narimani Injured, Nik Lentz Now Faces Arnold Allen At UFC Fight Night Raleigh

Nad Narimani has suffered an undisclosed injury and is off UFC Fight Night Raleigh, so Nik Lentz will now be facing Arnold Allen on the same card. Allen was previously scheduled to face Josh Emmett on the same card, but Emmett was also pulled a short time ago due to injury.

MMA Junkie first reported the news, but the nature of Narimani’s injury isn’t known at this time.

Lentz (30-10-2-1NC) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Scott Holtzman and Gray Maynard. Lentz hasn’t picked up a victory in almost a year, as the victory over Holtzman came in February of 2019. Lentz has suffered ten losses as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.

Allen (15-1-0) is undefeated under the UFC banner, having defeated Alan Omer, Yaotzin Meza, Makwan Amirkhani, Mads Burnell, Jordan Rinaldi and Gilbert Melendez. Allen has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Marcin Wrzosek at Cage Warriors 69. Allen has seen seven of his sixteen professional MMA bouts go the distance and Allen has won six of those encounters.

UFC Fight Night Raleigh takes place on Saturday, January 25 from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina with Curtis Blaydes and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
