Lion’s Break Project 3 isn’t the only time NJPW will have a presence in Florida come early April. Last year’s Lion’s Break Project 2, which were two cards that took place in December, featured a number of Young Lions and established NJPW veterans competing in California. Coughlin, Connors and Narita competed on those shows. Both of those shows were headlined by El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori vs. Rocky Romero & Ryusuke Taguchi on day one and Romero & Taguchi going up against Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado on day two.
