Nick Aldis vs. Flip Gordon Added To NWA Hard Times, Updated Card

The first bout for NWA Hard Times is official as Nick Aldis will take on Flip Gordon in an inter-promotional matchup.

The match was confirmed on Tuesday’s episode of NWA Powerrr. Aldis made a surprise appearance at ROH Saturday Night at Center Stage in Atlanta this past Saturday, attacking Gordon in the middle of a brawl between Villain Enterprises and La Faccion Ingobernable. 

The following night at Honor Reigns Supreme in Concord, NC, Villain Enterprises confronted Aldis as he was doing commentary on the pre-show. 

Aldis’ NWA World Heavyweight Title was not listed as being on the line in the match.

ROH and NWA had a working relationship beginning in 2018, but the two promotions cue ties in July 2019. The two parties appear to be working together again, which began with Marty Scurll making a surprise appearance at the end of NWA Into The Fire, confronting Aldis following his victory over James Storm. Scurll recently signed a new deal with ROH that also gave him lead booking duties.
