Report: Cris Lencioni Faces Salim Mukhidinov At Bellator 239
A featherweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 239 as Cris Lencioni is in action against Salim Mukhidinov.
Drake Riggs of My MMA News first reported the fight, but its spot on the card isn’t known at this time.
Lencioni (5-2-0) has won two of four under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over Thomas Lopez and Adil Benjilany. Lencioni has competed seven times as a professional MMA fighter and three of those bouts went the distance. Lencioni also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, with four of those wins coming at Full Contact Fighting Federation events.
Mukhidinov (7-3-0) is undefeated in Bellator MMA competition, having defeated Adel Altamimi by unanimous decision at Bellator 229. Mukhidinov has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter, with one of them coming to UFC veteran Humberto Bandenay. Mukhidinov has competed ten times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those bouts went the distance.
Bellator 239 takes place on Friday, February 21 from the Winstar World Casino & Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Ed Ruth and Yaroslav Amosov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
