Big Update On WWE’s Offers To The Revival, Where Negotiations Stand

The impending WWE free agent class has looked robust at times, but has thinned out quite a bit.

Still, two names that remain on that list are Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. It’s long been known that their deals are up in Spring of 2020. However, WWE has made continued efforts over the last 8 months to re-sign the duo.

Last year, WWE offered The Revival multi-year deals at around $550,000 each, which were passed on. In the months that followed, WWE was able to re-sign Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows of The OC to five-year contracts at significantly higher amounts. While Fightful weren’t told specific numbers, we’re told that the offers for Dawson and Dash have approached and perhaps exceeded that level. There were also offers of reduced dates, as the two worked over 150 matches in 2019.

One WWE source said that Dawson and Dash have not outright rejected the deals, but haven’t been quick to accept them, either. The situation surrounding the two has very much remained the same, with them wanting a well-booked tag team division. The source stated that WWE is “throwing everything at the Revival, and they’re just saying ‘we’ll let you know.'”

It’s also said that most top executives and names of influence have always wanted to keep the Revival around, it’s a matter of Vince McMahon being on board with the things they want, and their act in general.

Fightful will update the situation as we gain more information on it.
