Report: Tim Means Faces Ramazan Emeev At UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho

A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho as Tim Means is in action against Ramazan Emeev.

Fox New Mexico first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at the moment.

Means (29-11-1-1NC) has won three of his last eight under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Alex Garcia, Ricky Rainey and Thiago Alves. Means hasn’t put a winning streak together in over four years and that last streak lasted for two fights. Means has picked up twenty nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and nineteen of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Emeev (18-4-0) has won three of four in the UFC, with those victories coming over the trio of Sam Alvey, Alberto Mina and Stefan Sekulic. Emeev has seen his last five fights go the distance and it has been almost four years since the fighter got a finish. Emeev is a former two time M-1 Challenge Welterweight Champion, defeating Luigi Fioravanti and Mario Miranda to start both reigns.

UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho takes place on Saturday, February 15 from the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico with Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
