Report: Juan Archuleta Faces Henry Corrales At Bellator 238

A featherweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 238 as Juan Archuleta is in action against Henry Corrales.

Marc Raimondi of ESPN first reported the bout, which is expected to be a part of the main card.

Archuleta (23-2-0) is competing for the first time since losing in the opening round of the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix to Patricio Pitbull at Bellator 228. Archuleta had previously won five fights in Bellator MMA before the loss, with notable wins coming over Robbie Peralta, Ricky Bandejas and Eduardo Dantas. Archuleta has competed a total of twenty five times as a professional MMA fighter and nearly half of those bouts went the distance.

Corrales (17-4-0) is also competing for the first time since being ousted from the Bellator Featherweight World Grand Prix, with his loss coming to Darrion Caldwell at Bellator 228. Corrales started off his Bellator MMA tenure on a three fight losing streak, but has won five of six since. Corrales has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of KO/TKO.

Bellator 238 takes place on Saturday, January 25 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Julia Budd and Cyborg headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
