The very first match of the second night of Wrestle Kingdom 14 already saw a title change.

- Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI and Robbie Eagles
- Taichi, El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru
- Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi and Chase Owens

The match also saw the end of an impressive streak by Yano. Entering the match tonight, Yano was 7-0 in his last seven matches at Wrestle Kingdom with two of those matches seeing Yano capture the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship.
This is now the fourth time BUSHI and EVIL have held the titles, but for Takagi, this is just the first time he’s held the title. Both Takagi and BUSHI held the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team titles back in 2019.
