WWE SmackDown Viewership Slightly Down For First Show Of 2020
SmackDown’s first show of 2020 continued its recent run of stable viewership.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the January 3 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.418 million viewers, just slightly down from the 2.438 million viewers the December 27 episode drew. Although viewership is down this week, this is the third straight week SmackDown was able to average at least 2.4 million viewers. 2019’s first episode of SmackDown, which aired on USA Network, did 2.091 million viewers.
In the 18-49 demographic, SmackDown did a 0.7 rating, slightly up from the 0.65 rating last week did. The highest-rated program primetime in that demographic among FOX, ABC, CBS, CW, FOX was Hawaii Five-O, which did a 0.9 rating.

Hour 1: 2.467 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic
Hour 2: 2.369 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic
