Report: Two Bouts Added To UFC Fight Night Columbus, Sam Alvey In Action
Two more bouts have been added to the upcoming UFC Fight Night Columbus card as Louis Smolka faces Davey Grant and Khalil Rountree faces Sam Alvey.
MMA Junkie reported the bouts, but their placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Smolka (16-6-0) has won two of three during his second run in the UFC, with those victories coming over the duo of Su Mudaerji and Ryan McDonald. Grant (11-4-0) has won just two of five during his tenure in the UFC, with those victories coming over the two pack of Marlon Vera and Grigory Popov.
Rountree (8-4-0-1NC) has rotated wins and losses in his last four UFC bouts, with the latest being a first round TKO loss to Ion Cutelaba at UFC Fight Night Copenhagen. Alvey (33-13-0-1NC) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight losing streak, having dropped bouts to the trio of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, Jim Crute and Klidson Abreu.
UFC Fight Night Columbus takes place on Saturday, March 28 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio with Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
