Report: Veronica Macedo Faces Bea Malecki At UFC Fight Night Brasilia
A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Brasilia as Veronica Macedo is in action against Bea Malecki.
Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at the moment.
Macedo (6-3-1) has won just one of four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Polyana Viana at UFC Fight Night Uruguay. Macedo has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Macedo has picked up six wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.
Malecki (3-0-0) has competed once before in the UFC, which was a second round submission win over Duda Santana at UFC Fight Night Stockholm. Malecki has gone undefeated thus far as a professional and amateur MMA fighter, with that streak having already lasted over two years. Malecki has competed three times as a professional MMA fighter and none of her bouts have gone the distance.
UFC Fight Night Brasilia takes place on Saturday, March 14 from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
