Report: Tyron Woodley vs. Leon Edwards Headlines UFC Fight Night London

A welterweight division attraction is going to be headlining UFC Fight Night London as former UFC Welterweight Champion #1 Tyron Woodley faces #4 Leon Edwards.

MMA Junkie first reported the bout, which is a first time meeting between Woodley and Edwards.

Woodley (19-4-1) is competing for the first time since losing the UFC Welterweight Title to Kamaru Usman at UFC 235. Woodley hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with that last victory coming over Darren Till at UFC 228. Woodley has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of decision.

Edwards (18-3-0) enters the contest while in the midst of an eight fight winning streak, with notable wins coming over Vicente Luque, Bryan Barberena, Donald Cerrone, Gunnar Nelson and Rafael Dos Anjos. Edwards has previously headlined two UFC cards, defeating the aforementioned Cerrone and Dos Anjos. Edwards has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.

UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 21 from the 02 Arena in London, England with Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
