Report: Beneil Dariush Faces Drakkar Klose At UFC 248

A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC 248 as Beneil Dariush is in action against Drakkar Klose.

Combate first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.

Dariush (17-4-1) enters the contest on the strength of a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Thiago Moises, Drew Dober and Frank Camacho. Dariush hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Alexander Hernandez at UFC 222. Dariush has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them came by way of KO/TKO.

Klose (11-1-1) also comes into the bout on a three fight winning streak, having defeated Lando Vannata, Bobby Green and Christos Giagos. Klose has seen his last eight professional MMA bouts go the distance and it has been over five years since the fighter got a finish. Klose has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of decision.

UFC 248 takes place on Saturday, March 7 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
