UFC 245 Gate, Attendance, And Bonus Information

UFC capped off 2020 with a huge UFC 245 event, which was headlined by three title fights.

Held inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, UFC 245 drew 16,811 fans for a live gate of $??? million.

Last year’s end-of-year event, UFC 232 headlined by Jon Jones against Alexander Gustafsson was scheduled to be held at T-Mobile Arena, but was moved the week of the event to The Forum in Inglewood, CA due to an abnormal result found in Jones’ drug test. UFC 232 drew 15,862 fans for a gate of $2.066 million. The last end-of-year event at T-Mobile, UFC 219 headlined by Cris Cyborg vs. Holly Holm in 2017, drew 13,561 fans for a gate of $1.760 million.

Prior to UFC 245, the last event at T-Mobile Arena was UFC 239 in July. Headlined by Jon Jones against Thiago Santos, UFC 239 drew 18,358 fans for a gate of $6.063 million.

As far as bonuses go, Colby Covington and Kamaru Usman took home Fight of the Night honors for their UFC Welterweight Title main event. The back-and-forth fight was all action from the moment the bell rang with both men abandoning their wrestling for a striking contest. Usman ended up breaking the jaw of Covington in the third and stopping him with 50 seconds left in the fight.

Meanwhile, Petr Yan and Irene Aldana won Performance of the Night honors. Yan scored a third round KO over Urijah Faber while Aldana knocked out Ketlen Vieira in the first round. Usman, Covington, Yan, and Aldana all took home an extra $50,000.
