ROH Wrestling Television Results for 12/6/19 Episode #429 ROH World Television Championship Match

The ROH World Television Championship is on the line on this week’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling television!

-We open the show with highlights from the finals of the number one contender tournament finals in which PCO defeated Marty Scurll to get an opportunity to face RUSH at Final Battle.

-We get a video package for the match between Matt Taven and Vinny Marseglia where Vinny turned on Matt and TK O’Ryan and adopted the new name of Vincent as we go to commercial.

-We get a video package for Bully Ray and Mark Haskins ahead of their match at Final Battle before we to to Mark in the ring with a table set up. Mark says that he’s more than willing to face anyone who has a problem with him face to face. Mark calls out Bully Ray and demands he come out so he can say something to him face to face before Ray comes out onto the stage and Mark calls him a bitch several times. Ray gets into the ring with a chair before Mark gets attacked from behind by Flip Gordon before Bully pays Flip for his services and puts Mark through a table. Ray then grabs a mic and says that Mark’s wife is trash and his children are the off spring of trash and that he’s trash before agreeing to a match at Final Battle as we see that the match will be a Street Fight as we go to commercial.

-We return to Dalton Castle and Joe Hendry sitting side by side and discuss them teaming together before Dalton leaves to go shoot lasers from his eyes.

Bateman vs PJ Black

They shake hands before the match before they exchange hammer locks and wrist locks before exchanging forearms. They chop each other before Bateman whips PJ into the opposite corner and PJ hits a huricanrrana that sends Bateman out of the ring before hitting a suicide dive as we go to commercial.

Bateman slams PJ to the mat and hits a basement dropkick for two before elbowing him in the face and dropping PJ with a stiff forearm. Bateman drops PJ with an elbow to the head and PJ gets a two count off of a back slide before hitting a springboard moonsault for a near fall. Bateman gets a near fall when PJ gets his foot on the bottom rope before PJ counters a tombstone into a sunset flip pin for a near fall. Bateman headbutts PJ before hitting a brainbuster for a near fall before PJ drops Bateman with a roundhouse kick for a near fall. PJ hits a frankensteiner into a moonsault for a near fall before hitting a crucifix bomb for another near fall. Bateman then puts PJ in the tree of woe before hitting a spinning tombstone piledriver for the pin and the win.

Winner: Bateman defeats PJ Black via pinfall with a spinning tombstone.

-We go to Josh Woods and Silas Young backstage before Silas meets with Joe Koff and Joe turns down all of Josh’s demands before Silas scolds him and says that Josh still has plenty to learn about the business as we go to commercial.

-We get a video package for Shane Taylor Promotions before Shane comes out to the ring for his title defense.

ROH World Television Championship Match

Shane Taylor (c) w/Soldiers of Savagery vs Danhausen

They shake hands and Shane tosses Danhausen away when he goes for a suplex and Shane counters a chokeslam before Danhausen slaps him. Danhausen sends Shane out of the ring and rocks Shane with kicks before Shane powerbombs him onto the apron as we go to commercial.

Shane sends Danhausen into the railing and back into the ring as Dak Draper comes out onto the stage and watches the match. Shane chops Danhausen and rocks him with a stiff forearm before tossing him across the ring and nearly knocking him out with a right hand. Shane misses a running splash in the corner before Danhausen hits a tornado DDT for two before Danhausen pours teeth in Shane’s face. Danhausen hits a shining wizard for a near fall before he goes for a single arm DDT and Shane tosses him away before hitting a high knee and a package piledriver. Shane then hits Welcome to the Land for the pin and the win.

Winner: Shane Taylor retains his ROH World Television Championship by defeating Danhausen via pinfall with Welcome to the Land.

-We then get a promo with Shane backstage after the match and says that he will retain the belt via any means necessary when he defends at Final Battle against Dragon Lee.

-We get a video package for the ROH World Tag Team Championship match at Final Battle between the champions The Briscoes and the challengers Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham.

-We then get a rundown of the card for Final Battle before ending with a video package for RUSH versus PCO for the ROH World Championship as we go off the air.
