Report: Brent Primus Faces Peter Queally At Bellator Dublin

A lightweight division attraction has been added to Bellator Dublin as Brent Primus is in action against Peter Queally.

MMA Fighting first reported the bout, which is expected to serve as the co-main event of the show.

Primus (9-1-0) is going to be competing for the second time this year, with his last bout being a first round submission win over Tim Wilde at Bellator Europe 2. Primus is a former Bellator MMA Lightweight Champion, defeating Michael Chandler at Bellator 180 to claim the gold. Primus has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of submission.

Queally (12-5-1) has won one of two under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone win coming over Ryan Scope at Bellator 227. Queally has previously challenged for the Fight Night Global Lightweight Title, fighting Kuat Khamitov to a no contest at FNG 80. Queally has competed a total of eighteen times as a professional MMA fighter and fifteen of them went the distance.

Bellator Dublin takes place on Saturday, February 22 from the 3 Arena in Dublin, Ireland with James Gallagher and Cal Ellenor headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the Bellator App.
