Matt Hardy Says He’s At Peace With His WWE Run And He’s Repaid His Debt
Matt Hardy is happy with how his most recent run in WWE has gone.
In a tweet that can be seen below, Hardy talked about he has made peace with being in WWE after returning to the company alongside his brother in 2017. It should be noted that Hardy has not said he is retiring or is finished with WWE.
I needed to return to @WWE to finish in the right way. I didn’t want 2010 to be my finale. I returned in the most EPIC way & repaid my debt. I waved the #WWE flag with pride & worked hard to be a model employee. My conscience is clear & I am at peace. pic.twitter.com/EpT1gjNZNT

Fightful has reported Matt’s contract is up in early March 2020, but Jeff’s has been extended at least one year due to missed time. We haven’t heard of any particular companies showing interest.
Matt and Jeff returned to WWE at WrestleMania 33 in 2017, winning the Raw Tag Team Championship. Since then, the duo has also captured the SmackDown Tag Team Championship earlier this year. Matt has wrestled twice in the past couple of weeks on Raw and recently been uploading episodes of “Free The Delete” on his official YouTube channel. Matt also spoke to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp on a number of different topics and that interview can be seen below.
Fightful will keep you updated on Matt’s future.
