Report: Braun Strowman Misses WWE Live Event Due To Minor Injury
Braun Strowman didn’t appear at this past weekend’s WWE live events due to injury despite being advertised.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports Strowman missed the events due to a minor injury. Meltzer reports that he heard Strowman was dealing with back spasms but that the official word is that Strowman has a sore hip. The injury is only expected to keep him sidelined for a few days.
He was advertised to face ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt for the WWE Universal Championship at the live event in Jacksonville, FL, but was replaced by Drew McIntyre. ‘The Fiend’ would face Shinsuke Nakamura the following night in Daytona.
Strowman last wrestled on Nov. 30 at a WWE live event in Mexico City, defeating Sami Zayn and Nakamura in a handicap match. He did not appear on the most recent episode of WWE SmackDown. He is also not advertised to compete at Sunday’s WWE TLC pay-per-view. You can find the current card for WWE TLC by clicking here.
