Judge Dismisses Rest Of Mark Hunt’s Lawsuit, Hunt Responds

Former UFC fighter Mark Hunt had filed a lawsuit against the UFC in January 2017, accusing the promotion of fraud and conspiracy surrounding a bout against former UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar at UFC 200.

The final piece of that lawsuit, a charge of breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing, has been ruled in favor of the UFC by the judge overseeing the proceedings according to MMA Junkie. With that ruling now complete, it means that all of Hunt’s lawsuit against the UFC has been ruled in favor of the promotion and Hunt has lost the battle against the promotion.

Hunt would post the following response to what went down on Instagram:

There is no word yet on what is next for Hunt, who hasn’t fought or signed with any promotion since exiting the UFC with a loss to Justin Willis at UFC Fight Night Adelaide.
