WWE 2K Facebook Page Hacked, Vulgar Posts Made, 2K Responds
WWE 2K’s Facebook page was hacked tonight.
Several vulgar posts made their way onto the Facebook page and for a brief period of time, the cover photo was of Chris Benoit, the profile picture was changed to the logo of All Elite Wrestling and several pro-AEW posts were made.
You can see one of the posts, mocking the person who is in charge of the page below.

2K Games has gotten control of this issue and the Facebook page is back to normal. Their social media team issued the following statement via Twitter:
We are aware that social media accounts across the 2K label have been compromised and offensive material is being posted that does not reflect the values of 2K or our partners. We are actively working to fix this as soon as possible.

This was not an incident exclusive to WWE’s 2K pages, but 2K overall as vulgar posts were made throughout their many social media pages. 2K Games issued a statement of apology for the offensive posts made by the hackers.
Social media accounts across the 2K label were compromised early Friday evening. Unfortunately, offensive material was posted that does not reflect the values of 2K or our partners. We condemn these posts and apologize to everyone offended by the content.

WWE’s latest video game, WWE 2K20 was released back in October to mixed responses as best.
