Kelly Klein Hopes “Someone Will Finally Listen” In Regards To ROH Issues

Kelly Klein comments on ROH issues.

Women of Honor Champion Kelly Klein has been in the headlines this week as former ROH trainer/producer Joey Mercury revealed Klein’s pay with Ring of Honor, among other things. Klein passed along her email exchanges with ROH GM Greg Gilleland where she asked to be paid $24,000 per year. The number was rejected by Gilleland, who said they could not pay that number as it would have meant having to pay other women that number. The emails were posted on Mercury’s twitter account as part of a larger thread where he revealed multiple behind the scenes issues in ROH. 

Taking to social media herself, Klein revealed why she gave this information to Mercury and allowed him to post it.

I didn’t bring issues up publicly before. I was afraid for my job and the jobs of my colleagues. I don’t want to take away their place of work. I want to make their place of work better and safer.

Maybe someone will finally listen and let me and others help make things better.

Klein is not part of this weekend’s ROH shows in Pittsburgh and Columbus.
