ROH Wrestling Television Results for 10/25/19 Episode #423 WOH World Title Triple Threat Match

The Women of Honor World Championship is on the line in the main event of this week’s episode of Ring of Honor television!

-We open the show with a video recapping Angelina Love becoming the new WOH Women’s champion before Ian and Quinn talk about the WOH Women’s Championship Triple Threat match in tonight’s main event.

Joe Hendry, Rhett Titus, Cheeseburger & Silas Young vs Jeff Cobb, Kenny King, Josh Woods & Brian Johnson

Cheese and Kenny lock up for a clean break to start the match before Kenny hits an arm drag into shoulder block that knocks Cheese over. Cheese runs the ropes on every side and clotheslines Kenny for a quick one count before Kenny hits a powerslam for a quick two count and Rhett comes in. Brian tags himself in and argues with Kenny before Brian tags Josh in, Josh and Rhett grappling on the mat before exchanging at least ten standing switches. Silas tags himself in and they exchange wrist locks and Josh sweeps the legs of Silas before they roll around the ring and Josh gets a two count off as we go to commercial.

We return to Joe in control of Brian before Rhett comes in and slams Brian before he quickly tags in Cheese and Rhett slams Cheese onto Brian for a two count before Jeff comes in and drops Brian with clotheslines before tossing him and Cheese around the ring. Jeff rocks Joe and hits running back elbows and uppercuts in three of four corners before he catches Rhett coming off of the top rope. Jeff hits a delayed falcon arrow into a standing moonsault for a two count before Kenny comes in and he and Rhett lock up before Brian tags himself in. Brian gets a two count before Rhett clotheslines Brian and tags Cheese who drops Brian with forearms and a running back elbow in the corner. Cheese superkicks Brian and hits a Fuji special before everyone hits a move until they collapse and Jeff takes out Cheese and Rhett. Jeff and Joe run at each other and clothesline each other at ringside before Brian drags Josh out of the ring and Cheese starts hitting everyone with a shotei. Kenny hits Cheese with a spinebuster before Silas hits Kenny with a cutter and Josh rolls up Silas out of nowhere for the pin and the win.

Winner: Josh Woods, Jeff Cobb, Kenny King and Brian Johnson defeat Silas Young, Cheeseburger, Rhett Titus and Joe Hendry when Josh pins Silas with a roll up.

-We get a video package for the ROH World Television champion Shane Taylor before we get highlights of The Bouncers and The Kingdom in which The Bouncers won before we see Brian and Beer City Bruiser celebrating backstage.

The Bouncers vs Slice Boogie & Chris Bey

BCB and Slice start the match off, BCB dropping Slice before Chris and Brian come in and Brian tosses Chris into the corner before Brian knocks Chris out of the air when he goes for a dive off of the top rope. BCB bites Chris and hits a knee drop before Slice pulls BCB out of the ring and clotheslines him before Chris hits a dropkick and a standing moonsault for a one count. BCB hits a spinebuster and slams Slice on top of Chris before Brian hits a running splash and hip attack in both corners and a running cross body. The Bouncers then hit their finisher to Slice for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Bouncers defeat Slice Boogie and Chris Bey via pinfall.

-We see Rhett, Cheeseburger, Silas and Joe celebrating backstage before Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham have a heart to heart talk and decide to go after the tag titles once they’re healed.

-We get highlights of the Top Prospect tournament in which Dak Draper defeated Austin Gunn in the finals before Dak cuts a promo about his work ethic and his athleticism, Dak saying that his strongest weapon is his mind.

-We throw to Brian Zane breaking down the toughest ROH World champions, ranking Austin Aries number five, Kevin Owens as number four, Samoa Joe at three, Daniel Bryan number two and giving the number one spot to WWE commentator Nigel McGuinness before he’s interrupted by Dalton Castle who says he should be on the list since he broke his back and defended the belt with a broken back. Dalton then names himself as the top five before leaving.

WOH World Championship Triple Threat Match

Angelina Love (c) w/Mandy Leon vs Jenny Rose vs Sumie Sakai

Jenny and Sumie go after Love and hit running clotheslines in the corner into a stereo suplex and a double clothesline before Angelina rolls out of the ring. Jenny hits a running splash in the corner into a spinning side slam to Sumie for a quick two count before they exchange running forearms and Angelina drags Sumie out of the ring before hitting a running back elbow. Sumie drags Angelina out of the ring before Jenny hits a fisherman’s suplex for a two count as we go to commercial.

We come back to Jenny having Sumie in a single leg Boston crab that Angelina breaks up before the locking in a Koji clutch on Sumie who gets to the ropes die the break right before passing out. Angelina hits a diving Thesz press off of the apron and Jenny hits Mongolian chops in the corner before Angelina sends her out of the ring. Sumie hits a fisherman’s buster for a near fall before Angelina counters Smash Mouse into a sunset flip for a two count before Angelina tosses Sumie out of the ring. Jenny hits a jawbreaker and a running splash in the corner before choking Angelina in the corner and Sumie and Jenny exchange forearms until they drop Angelina with a double back elbow. Jenny spears Sumie for a near fall before Sumie gets a near fall off of a roll through and a uranage for a near fall that Angelina breaks up. Angelina then hits the Botox Injection for a near fall before Mandy distracts Sumie and Angelina hits Sumie with the Botox Injection for the pin and the win.

Winner: Angelina Love retains her WOH World Championship by defeating Sumie Sakai and Jenny Rose via pinfall when she pins Sumie with the Botox Injection.
