Report: Khadis Ibragimov Replaces Gadzhimurad Antigulov At UFC Fight Night Moscow
Gadzhimurad Antigulov has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Moscow, replacing him against Ed Herman is Khadis Ibragimov.
Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA first reported the news, but a reason as to why he was removed from the card hasn’t been revealed at this time.
Herman (24-14-0-1NC) is competing for the first time since signing a new four fight contract with the UFC. Herman made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3, but lost a decision to Kendall Grove in that final encounter. Herman has won just one of his last four under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Patrick Cummins at UFC Fight Night Rochester.
Ibragimov (8-1-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Da Un Jung by third round submission at UFC Fight Night Shenzhen. Ibragimov has competed a total of nine times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance. Ibragimov competed a total of four times in the M-1 Challenge promotion, once winning a bout by DQ after excessive rope grabbing by an opponent.
UFC Fight Night Moscow takes place on Saturday, November 9 from the CSKA Arena in Moscow, Russia with Zabit Magomedsharipov and Calvin Kattar headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
