John Cena Donates $500,000 To LAFD And CAFF For National First Responders Day
John Cena gives back.
For National First Responders Day, John Cena donated $500,000 to Los Angeles Fire Department and California Fire Foundation. Paramount, the production company for “Playing with Fire,” chose the organizations after Cena revealed he would be making the donation. Cena explained that the donation is his way of giving back and wanting to help first responders battle the California wildfires.
“In times like this, when people are giving their lives and working around the clock, what they need from us is resource,” said Cena. “Please stay safe, and you are our heroes.”
Two incredible choices. @LAFDFoundation and @CAFireFound … on behalf of Paramount and the cast of #PlayingWithFireMovie, a total of $500K is coming your way. Thank you for what you do. Help is on the way!!! https://t.co/SHz8uPFDMe
