Seth Rollins Feels He Doesn’t Get The Respect He Deserves For Putting WWE On His Back
Seth Rollins talks about a lack of respect.
Following his victory over Erick Rowan in a Falls Count Anywhere match on WWE Raw, Seth Rollins discussed the lack of respect he’s felt heading into his WWE Crown Jewel bout against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt.
“It wasn’t so much about the win or the loss [against Rowan], it was about getting myself ready for ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt. There’s been a lot of disrespect lately, I feel like. ‘The Fiend’ is cool, fresh, and new and has this cult following. And that just puts a chip on my shoulder. I feel like I’m out here every single week, busting my back, breaking my back, putting this whole company on my back sometimes. And I don’t get the respect I deserve because there’s this new flavor of ice cream. The dude is scary. I get that too. I don’t know what it’s going to take at Crown Jewel to put him away, but I’m gonna do whatever it takes to survive and prevail. It’s kinda what I do,” he said.
Rollins seemed to blend kayfabe and reality in the promo as fans have turned on him during his feud with ‘The Fiend,’ booing him at WWE Hell in a Cell and during the Raw dark matches against Wyatt.
Rollins defends the WWE Universal Title against Wyatt in a Falls Count Anywhere match where the match can’t be stopped for any reason at WWE Crown Jewel.
