Tony Khan Promises Huge Announcement After Jacksonville Show Announcement Falls Flat For Most Fans
Tony Khan promises to deliver.
On Monday morning, All Elite Wrestling’s social media team got fans exciting by promising a “big announcement” at noon. The announcement fell flat for most fans as the “big announcement” turned out to be AEW Dynamite in Jacksonville on January 1, 2020. The show is being billed as a Homecoming event as AEW offices are located in Jacksonville. The majority of fans were disappointed as the “big announcement” amounted to another location reveal for AEW Dynamite, which AEW does every week.
AEW President Tony Khan responded to the announcement and promised to make things right for fans not in Jacksonville.
Jeff, let’s do our best not to toy with people’s emotions like this. We got people who aren’t near the Florida market all excited, now we have to come up with another huge announcement, one that affects all of our fans everywhere, to make it up to them. So that’s what we’ll do.

It is unclear when Khan and AEW will deliver on the “huge announcement.”
