Xavier Woods Provides Post-Surgery Update, Thanks Fans For Their Support
Xavier Woods talks recovering from surgery.
Earlier today directly after his surgery to repair his Achilles tendon, New Day member Xavier Woods put out a video on social media to update his fans.
“No clue how long I’ll be out. I’m going to figure that information soon,” Woods began. “But I wanted to update you guys rather than you guys reading random stuff on the internet from people who have no clue what’s going on with no firsthand knowledge of what this injury is.”
Then, the multi-time WWE Tag Team Champion would shift gears to a more serious tone, thanking fans in advance for helping him get through this ordeal.
“In actuality, I’m very sad that I will not be able to wrestle for quite a while,” he said somberly. “But thank you guys for supporting me. And thank you in advance for helping to keep me sane through this process. Freak accident. Job is dangerous. These things are always a possibility. Um, but I will be streaming a lot, playing games a lot. There will be content for Up Up Down Down. We’re going to cons a lot. Yeah… Thanks.”
Updaaaaaaate – for those of you asking what exactly happened in the first place. I was on top of my treehouse and someone yelled that my epidermis was showing….https://t.co/lTgxrMaBjE pic.twitter.com/nXDep1KWDl
