Report: King Mo Retirement Fight Set For Bellator 233
King Mo announced his retirement from professional MMA competition a few months back, but the fighter is going to have a retirement fight at Bellator 233 according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN and the opponent is going to be Andrew Kapel.
Mo (21-9-0-1NC) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight losing streak and he hasn’t picked up a victory in over two years. Mo’s last victory as a professional MMA fighter came at Bellator 175 in March of 2017, where he defeated Rampage Jackson by unanimous decision. Mo is a former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Gegard Mousasi by unanimous decision at Strikeforce: Nashville.
Kapel (13-6-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Kapel has competed a total of nineteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance. Kapel is also going to be back in action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place on April of 2018.
