Report: Randa Markos Steps In At UFC Fight Night Singapore

Ashley Yoder was in need of a new opponent for UFC Fight Night Singapore after the withdrawal of Yan Xiaonan and now she has one because a report from MMA Junkie is stating that Randa Markos has accepted the short notice opportunity.

Yoder (7-4-0) comes into the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Amanda Bobby Cooper and Syuri Kondo. Yoder has seen her last five professional MMA bouts go the distance and it has been almost three years since the fighter got a finish. Yoder also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 23, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Kate Jackson.

Markos (9-7-1) has won just one of her last four bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Angela Hill at UFC Fight Night Nashville. Markos also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20, making it to the semi-finals of the reality show before losing to Rose Namajunas. Markos has competed seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of her bouts ended by way of KO/TKO.

UFC Fight Night Singapore takes place on Saturday, 26 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Ben Askren and Demian Maia headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
