Report: Chas Skelly Faces Jordan Griffin At UFC Fight Night Vancouver
A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Vancouver according to MMA Fighting as Chas Skelly is going to be in action against Jordan Griffin.
Skelly (17-4-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Jason Knight and Bobby Moffett. Skelly has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats came in UFC competition. Skelly has picked up seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of submission.
Griffin (17-6-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Dan Ige via unanimous decision at UFC On Fox 31. Griffin also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Maurice Mitchell by first round submission. Jordan Griffin is a former Dakota FC and Revelation Fight Organization Featherweight Champion, defeating Cody Stevens and Cameron Ramberg to start both reigns.
UFC Fight Night Vancouver takes place on Saturday, September 14 from Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with Donald Cerrone and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
