Report: AJ Agazarm Faces Jonathan Quiroz At Bellator 228

A lightweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 228 according to MMA Junkie as AJ Agazarm is going to be in action against Jonathan Quiroz.

Agazarm (1-1-0) is looking to build on the momentum of his first professional MMA victory, which came over Jacob Landin at Bellator 224. Agazarm made his professional MMA debut at Bellator 214, suffering a split decision loss to Jesse Roberts. Agazarm has competed just two times as a professional MMA fighter and his total fight time in just under twenty minutes.

Quiroz (2-3-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so while in the midst of a two fight losing streak. Quiroz hasn’t picked up a win as a pro MMA fighter in almost three years, with that last win coming against Micahael Jackson at CXF 6 in February of 2017. Quiroz has competed a total of three times under the Combate Americas banner, picking up a 1-2-0 record in the promotion.

Bellator 228 takes place on Saturday, September 28 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Patricio Pitbull and Juan Archuleta headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on DAZN.
