Report: Tim Elliott Faces Deiveson Figueiredo At UFC Fight Night San Francisco
A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night San Francisco according to Combate as #4 Deiveson Figueiredo is going to be in action against #6 Tim Elliott.
Figueiredo (16-1-0) has won five of six fights under the UFC banner, with the last win coming against Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 240. Figueiredo has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Jussier Formiga at UFC Fight Night Nashville. Figueiredo has competed a total of seventeen times as a professional MMA fighter and just four of those encounters went the distance.
Elliott (15-8-1) has rotated wins and losses in his second UFC run, with that latest bout being a second round submission win over Mark De La Rosa at UFC 219. Elliott is going to be returning to action for the first time in almost two years, as his last bout happened in December of 2017. Elliott has had a total of two runs with the UFC, earning an overall record of 4-6-0 in the promotion.
UFC Fight Night San Francisco takes place on Saturday, October 12 from the Chase Center in San Francisco, California with Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Michelle Waterson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
